Coach Education & Mentor Coaching
Are you a trained coach interested in ICF Credentialing,
Mentor Coaching, or Coaching Supervision?
Corey Stanford, Master Certified Coach
I’ve been coaching full-time for over ten years, completing more than 400 individual coaching engagements with clients from over 40 countries. This diverse experience has deepened my understanding of how people make meaning within their cultural contexts, which informs my approach to presence, listening, and partnership.
As an ICF Assessor, I’ve evaluated over a hundred recorded coaching sessions for the ICF Performance Evaluation. I was trained directly by ICF and continue to participate in ongoing development and calibration exercises with the Credentialing and Standards team. This ensures I stay aligned with the latest performance evaluation criteria, allowing me to give mentees highly relevant and actionable feedback on their coaching.

I am a Registered Mentor Coach with ICF and a Director of Education for an ICF-accredited Coach Education Program. Over 100 of the students who completed my program have applied to ICF for their credential, and 100% have passed. Contrast this with the general PCC Performance Evaluation rate of 70%.
Coaching Supervision Experience: I’ve designed and led large-scale coaching programs that spanned multiple years, including recruiting and supervising over thirty coaches. Through group and individual supervision, I’ve supported coaches in aligning with a coaching mindset and navigating the subtle internal and behavioral shifts needed for more masterful coaching.

This is not generic feedback. Corey listens with nuance, identifies subtle misalignments in your coaching presence, and helps you develop the internal shifts necessary to demonstrate behavioral excellence. His approach supports long-term growth and alignment with the ICF Core Competencies.

Services
The Group Mentor Coaching for Credentialing
This ICF-Accredited program is for trained coaches seeking to earn or renew an ICF Credential.
Individual Mentor Coaching
Mentor coaching is essential for developing and demonstrating the coaching competencies required for your desired credential. It fosters growth through constructive feedback and reflective practice over an extended period, typically a minimum of three months.
ICF defines mentor coaching as a collaborative process where coaches receive feedback based on observed sessions to refine their skills and style in alignment with the ICF Core Competencies.
Mentor coaching is available to coaches across all credentialing levels, including Associate Certified Coach (ACC), Professional Certified Coach (PCC), and Master Certified Coach (MCC) applicants, and is crucial for both initial credentialing and renewal. Whether you’re just starting out or aiming for your next level, mentor coaching can help you continuously grow.
Coaching Supervision
Coaching Supervision is a collaborative process where you engage in reflective dialogue with a trained supervisor to explore your practice, enhance your skills, and deepen your self-awareness. Through this partnership, you gain valuable support and guidance.

Unlike mentor coaching, which focuses on refining your technical skills in the ICF Core Competencies, coaching supervision takes a more holistic approach. It focuses not only on what you do as a coach, but on who you are and how you show up in your practice.
Coaching supervision creates a safe space to reflect on both your successes and challenges, helping you become a more impactful coach.
